It has been a month now since we first came to CrossRoads Church and everyone has given us such a warm welcome. We certainly have appreciated all the acts of kindness that have been shown to us. In that one month I have come to realize the potential that our church has and some of the things that it has going for it. First, CrossRoads Church is a friendly church. Our members genuinely care about one another and want to make both guests and members feel welcome at all activities. Secondly, CrossRoads Church is composed of very talented people. From the choir to our mission teams to our core of Sunday School teachers and beyond, our church is composed of people who are not only talented but who are willing to share their talent for the glory of God. Thirdly, CrossRoads Church has some very dedicated lay leadership. Our church leaders continue to take seriously the tasks that have been set before them and to faithfully lead our church in its mission "to make disciples for Jesus Christ" whether it be in southeast Shelby county or across the world. Last but not least, CrossRoads Church has a vision for the 21st Century: "to be Christ-centered, Spirit filled, mission-minded, lay-involved, inspired through worship, and supported by prayer" and we base all that we do on this vision. CrossRoads Church has so much going for it but the most important thing that it has is YOU! To fulfill our vision we need you! We need your input! We need your support! We need your presence! We need your prayers! Without you, CrossRoads will not be the church that Christ has called us to be. As your pastor, I ask that you share the excitement of CrossRoads with your friends, your family, your co-workers, and your neighbors. Tell people where we are located and what we have to offer. Invite them to "Nights on Broadway" or to one of our worship services or to your Sunday School class. Let them know that there is a special place for them at CrossRoads Church.
