Sunday School
Sunday school classes meet each Sunday at 9:45 A.M.
Horizons Class
This class is composed of singles and married from ages 25-65. Contemporary
issues are often discussed. This class features several socials per year and has
wonderful communication among the members.
Friendly Class
This is a group consisting of ages 65 and up who really enjoy a time of
fellowship, lecture, and discussion centered around the UM Adult Bible Study
Quarterly. They enjoy social fellowships often.
Bible Study Class
Have you ever wondered just what God is up to in your life? What does the
Scripture say about Heaven, hell, and salvation? The Bible is studied
in depth to discover just who God is and how he operates in our lives
today. The class format consists of a combination of lecture and voluntary
discussion with thought-provoking questions. The class is intended for ages 30
and up.
New Life Class
This class is comprised of men and women, single and married, of all ages.
They have "rotating" teachers that
present contemporary issues but with answers that are biblically based. This
leads to lively discussions and sharing. They enjoy several socials and
fellowships throughout the year.
Christian Homebuilders
A mixed group of couples and singles aged 60 and up. Their study material is the
Adult Bible Studies, International Lesson Series. They have "rotating"
teachers who alternate teaching assignments. The class enjoys singing some of
the old traditional hymns and songs. Several social events are planned
throughout the year.
New Beginnings
This class is designed to give parents of young children, as well as other
young adults, an outlet for Bible study and fellowship. They use a combination
of video and discussion relating to family issues. Ages range from 20–50.
Youth
The youth of CrossRoads have the opportunity to meet friends and find answers to
the questions they have about God, the Bible, and life. Grades 7 through 12
study from the Sunday School Quarterly "Young Teen". Grades 4 through
6 study "Exploring Faith for Middle Grades".
